Accidental and Experimental Archaeometallurgy 2.1 Conference & HMS AGM

To celebrate the 12th anniversary (would have been 10th if not for Coronavirus) of the hugely successful experimental conference at West Dean in 2010, and the subsequent volume of the same name, the Historical Metallurgy Society are holding a two-and-a-half-day experimental conference at the Ancient Technology Centre in Cranbourne, Dorset in June 2022.

The closure of bookings for the event does not affect the right of any member to attend the HMS AGM on Saturday.
Accommodation/pubs and eateries are also available in the local village.
The registration fee includes all tea/coffee breaks and lunch on each day. A ‘conference dinner’ will be available on-site on the Saturday evening, in the form of a ‘Hog Roast’ with a vegetarian option.
Transport from the train station can also be arranged. From 12pm on the Sunday, our activities will be open to visitors.
